Responsible for overseeing each job to completion. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  1. Along with the Foreman, reviews job specifications to determine materials, tools and equipment needed for the job. Along with the Foreman and installer(s), loads the truck with such materials, tools and equipment.
  2. Along with the Foreman, assesses conditions of the job once on-site. Plans time allotment, tools needed and order of work, and decides workload for self and installers. Adjusts for conditions, makes changes from original job order, troubleshoots situations, and innovates processes on the spot in order to complete the job to meet Bix standards and timetables.
  3. Along with the Foreman, (1) assigns tasks of installer(s), (2) motivates and trains installers on proper handling of materials and tools and approved methods of installation of basement finishing products, (3) ensures company policies and procedures, as well as safety guidelines, are followed, (4) moves job progress to completion at a pace to ensure efficiency and quality workmanship, (5) identifies and solves any problems while working with customers, and (6) maintains an organized jobsite.

Fulfills the Foreman's position when the Foreman is absent.

Regular and punctual attendance. Ability to work overtime if needed. Preferably, ability to legally drive a motor vehicle. Ability to travel overnight during the week.

    • Communicates with subcontractors and provides quality control of the subcontractors; work.
    • Communicates with inspectors as needed.
    • Communicates with the Production Manager and/or Production Department regarding the job, and ensures all paperwork is done completely and accurately and is given to the proper parties.

What will you do?
